Play With Purpose
Our tournament features 21 divisions (mixed, men’s, and women’s) to ensure a great experience for beginners and seasoned players alike. We also have Senior divisions! Whether it’s your first competition or your hundredth, you’re sure to have a fantastic time!
Competitive Details
– Round robin play at Lakeview Knolls Park, a brand new 18-court outdoor facility, just 5 minutes from Pints & Paddle.
– All teams advance to a March Madness style single-elimination bracket at Pints & Paddle. This is played on the same day, with a quick break to grab food or a drink.
– All teams get a minimum of 6 games.
Post-Game Fun
– Relax and watch the championship matches, courtside or from our second floor mezzanine.
– Enjoy delicious food and drinks at the attached Pints & Paddle’s taproom, featuring 78 self-serve taps and a scratch-made American kitchen.
– Unwind on the spacious patio with live music playing all day long.

CORNHOLE
This exciting event a social cornhole tournament, catering to all skill levels.
Social Tournament (Sign up here)
– Saturday, August 3rd, starting at 11am
– $20 per team. Includes a free drink ticket per player.
– Gift card prizes
Details: Round robin play to determine seeding for the single-elimination bracket (best 2/3). All teams guaranteed a minimum of 5 matches. Top three teams will win prizes.

Celebrity Showdown
Kick off the event with an exciting night of pickleball! Watch pro pickleball players and local celebrities battle it out in exhibition matches. After the championship match, challenge the pros yourself! All challenge proceeds benefit the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.

Watch the best of the best compete for a shot at the $2,000 prize (per division) purse in the Pro Divisions on Friday and Saturday night.
Mixed divisions will play on Friday and Men’s / Women’s divisions will be played on Saturday.

About the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund
The mission of the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund is to support the cancer community in Minnesota by funding research, prevention, treatment and other programs relating to the needs of the cancer community.
All proceeds from the Summer Slam & Jam pickleball tournament will benefit the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund!
Do I have to commit an entire weekend to this event?
No! Each division takes place IN A SINGLE DAY.
Is there a skill level for me?
YES! We have divisions ranging from 2.5 (beginner) to Open (for professionals). You will play against players of the same skill level!
How does the live music work? Do I have to pay? When is the live music?
Join us for a fun-filled day with live music! We’ll kick things off with a DJ or smaller acts on the patio, getting the party started right at noon. Then, around 5 pm, live bands take the stage to keep the energy high into the evening. Come for the competition, stay for the entertainment! No entry fee.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Outside food and drink are NOT permitted at Pints & Paddle. Our facility features a scratch-made American kitchen and 78 self-service taps, with beer, cider, seltzer, wine, cocktail and mocktail options.
Part of the tournament is hosted outdoors, what happens if it rains?
Registration fees directly benefit the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.
We’ll make every effort to hold the tournament, even in slightly bad weather. However, due to the charitable nature of this event, refunds cannot be issued for weather-related modifications.
I want to come watch the tournament, is that allowed?
Pints & Paddle boasts a spacious second-floor mezzanine overlooking the event, perfect for watching the competition. Grab a beer and enjoy the best seat in the house!
